Founded in 1997, ZEBRA offers premier-quality athletic flooring, mats, training equipment and accessories as well as expert facility consultation, design, installation services.
While our heritage is in Mixed Martial Arts and Martial Arts, we also offer a comprehensive line of products and services for the Yoga and Fitness communities.
A History of Innovation
ZEBRA was the first flooring company to market premium quality mat systems for all Martial Arts disciplines. We developed the first 1” thick tatami style mat for the Striking Arts. We were first to market with specialty mat systems for Cardio Kick Boxing and Cardio Karate programs, adding specially coated vinyl to allow use of shoes without damaging mat finish and performance. When MMA became a mainstream sport, ZEBRA was the first to introduce textureless vinyl for use in No-Gi training. ZEBRA also mastered the delicate challenge of Hot Yoga flooring, offering a temperature stable, easily cleanable flooring solution to the Yoga industry.

What’s your life story?
Born and raised like most of the employees of REGUPOL / ZEBRA Athletics Europe near Bad Berleburg. When I started my apprenticeship at REGUPOL / ZEBRA back in 2005, I developed the passion for martial arts, especially mixed martial arts. When I’m not working for ZEBRA, I train in my home gym (from ZEBRA 😉 of course), I like to travel or meet my friends and family. Dog Lover!
If you were a martial arts athlete, what would be your nickname?
“Alman” (Turkish for „The German”). It’s a common nickname in Germany for people with typical German characteristics 😉

He drinks too much coffee, especially when things get stressful. But he still solves the biggest problems in a calm and charming way.
What is your favourite part about working for ZEBRA?
Working for ZEBRA is more than just a job, it’s a passion. The martial arts world is a huge family and I enjoy making new friends all over the world.
What´s your favourite mats colour?
I love colour combinations that you don’t see too often and that are customised. The gym of Dustin Stoltzfus with ZEBRA Smooth Series Mats and Wall Pads in navy blue and yellow is unique!

What’s your life story?
I am born near to the small town Bad Berleburg and I´ve been working for ZEBRA / REGUPOL since 2007. Outside of work I am a dog mum of Rosa 🐶💜. I love to travel and meeting friends. In 2019 I tried yoga for the first time, and I love it. Since then, I have been attending yoga classes.

Phew, difficult question 😊 I think a mix of something strong and cordial.

Don´t talk to her too early in the morning 🤣 She is a morning grouch. Later in the day she´s quite nice, has an open ear and is helpful.
What is your favourite part about working for ZEBRA?
I enjoy working with so many different customers / athletes from different countries. Every customer is unique and has his own ideas, I love to respond on their individual wishes. Also I love seeing the installed gyms and the happy faces of their owners.
What’s your favourite mats colour?
I love our ZEBRA MMA / Tatami mats in colour grey. Almost all other colours match to grey.

My life is Martial Arts. I started in 1977 with Taekwondo and became World Champion after 10 years.

As a heavy weight fighter, I always was just the „Heavy”.

What’s your life story?
I grew up in a village near Bad Berleburg and started working at REGUPOL / ZEBRA in 2019. Since I was little, I spend my free time with horses 🐴 When I’m not working or riding, I love meeting my friends and travel. ☀
